The Institute of Algebra, Number Theory and Discrete Mathematics is mostly located on the 4th floor (secretary: room A411) of the main building of Leibniz Universität Hannover (Welfenschloss).

• Directions to the main building

Airport - Main Station

From the airport take the S-Bahn number 5 (direction Hameln or Hannover Hbf) and get off at the main station (Hannover Hbf). The train leaves every hour at minutes 6 and 36. The ride takes 17 minutes. Tickets are available from ticket machines at the platform.

Main Station - Main Building

It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the main station to the main building. Alternatively, you might take the U-Bahn to the university. Leave the main station by the exit Ernst-August-Platz and go straight ahead along Bahnhofstraße up to the station Kröpcke. Now take number 4 (direction Garbsen) or 5 (direction Stöcken) and get off at the (third) stop Universität. You only need a shortrange ticket (Kurzstreckenticket). The main building is now in front of you.

Inside the Main Building

Enter through the main portal, turn to the right and go up the stairs in front of you up to the fourth (top) floor.

Main Station - Leibnizhaus

It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the main station to the Leibnizhaus. If you carry heavy luggage with you, you might find it convenient to take a taxi. You might also take the U-Bahn. From the main station take number 3 or 7 (direction Wettbergen) or 9 (direction Empelde) up to the (second) station Markthalle/Landtag. You only need a shortrange ticket (Kurzstreckenticket). The Leibnizhaus is only 350 metres away from this station.
